As new book bound in black leather with silver gilt spine printing, in an as new, price intact, undamaged and unworn dustjacket, in a near fine plus slipcase (bound in light grey cloth) that has a couple of very tiny slightly darker marks and a trace of light shelving wear to the bottom edge to keep it from being absolutely fine. According to the publisher, there were 26 lettered copies (issued in a wooden slipcase), then 75 of these Presentation Copies, with the remainder of the limited edition run being the numbered copies. Supposedly Simmons did some of the illustrations himself, as the person doing the illustrations was changed shortly before publication date.
