New York: Leavitt & Allen. Good. 1856. Hardcover. Ornate green leather boards lavisly decorated with gilt, recessed panel. Suntanned spine. Crack to leather cover along spine edge, with cardboard showing through. Frayed to cardboard at tips of corners, head and heel of spine. Interior pp typically age-darkened with a scattering of foxing. Page edges gilt, with scuffs as is typical of age. Illuminated Presentation Plate and title plate, as well a black & white plates throughout. First signature loosely attached. Color Illustrations 8vo 8" - 9" tall .
