Lounech: Edvard Fastr, 1937 Classic Czech children's story which was originally published in 1903. This is a lovely edition with 3 full page chromolithograph plates and numerous in text black and white wood cut illustrations. The title, Broucci, translates as little Beetles, and the story is about their lives. It is sometimes also referred to as Fireflies and Gloworms. Specific condition: Dust Jacket: Chipped at top and bottom of spine and small split at bottom right. Binding: Has been well protected by dust jacket. Some rubbing to corners, otherwise very good. Interior: A few minor brown spots, otherwise very good.. Pictorial Cover. Very Good/Very Good. Illus. by Wenig, Josef. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
