The Historical Society of Southern California, founded in 1883 and headquartered in the landmark home of Los Angeles booster and author Charles F. Lummis, is the nationally-acclaimed scholarly journal on the region's history. It continues to document the region's history in its Quarterly Journal. Being offered here is a near complete run of the Annual publications and it includes the ÔConstitution and By-Laws' printed and bound in 1884 and an unbroken run from 1888-1922 (a total of 31 volumes). The following issues are doubles; 1888/89, 1906/07, 1909/10, 1912/13 and 1915/16. There is a wealth of original scholarship herein and complete runs are exceedingly hard to obtain.
