Customer ReviewsOn May 18 2009, oystercatcher said: ![]() ![]() ![]() "If you are interested in celestial navigation read this book! The author gives detailed instructions on how to use plotting sheets using dr and information from sights and sight reduction. The graphics which are very important to the book are too small and I had to use a magnifying glass to read the detail but then again my eyes are showing signs of age. The authors uses the sight reduction tables in the back of the nautical almanac which I don't care for as I prefer a calculator but if you know the formulas it won't matter and if you don't you can follow the authors examples.
