Dark red cloth with gold title on spine and light orange titles on front board. Front also has golden illustration of broken bowl. Cloth is worn, some fraying at head and tail of spine. Nick in cloth at top edge of front board. Points are soft and beginning to fray. Spine is faded and boards are soiled around edges. Binding is loose but not broken or cracked. Pages yellowing. Unaccredited color frontispiece. Author's signature in black fountain pen on half-title page reads, "Regards- Theodore Dreiser". Page edges dust soiled. 557p.. Signed by Author. Second. Cloth.
