Book desription: Saint Paul, Minnesota: AutoDrive LLC, 2007. 584pp. Stated First Edition Blue boards with gilt lettering. 11.1 x 9 x 1.9 inches. A novel about the inventor of AutoDrive, the self-driving car. He works for Flight Control, a Minnesota company that's five years into producing it. It has a year left. It's not going to get it. The inventor is fired, because he can't deliver the car in time. Convoluted dreams of possible futures don't help. The elephants, running the bowling alley in the apartment upstairs, are no help. Whoever set him up with the girl of his dreams isn't admitting it. He wants to live happily-ever-after with her, but he doesn't know how to do that. As an inventor, he takes happily-ever-after and breaks it down into manageable steps. Manageable steps are great, but manageable steps aren't going to keep him out of trouble. Pages are bright and clean (no writing, underlining, or highlighting). Binding is tight with no cracks or breaks. Looks nice in protective mylar covering. This is not a remainder or ex-library. No previous owner markings. Very nice copy of this unique and funny book. . First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Mylared.
