Book desription: Dresden: Goethe Verlag, 1910. Hard Cover. Good Plus/No Jacket. Orange cloth with green titles and a clover sprig illustration to cover and spine cap. Signed and inscribed at length by Bewer on the first blank in the year of publication. Signature matches closely to the printed text and signature appearing on the frontispiece. All text block edges gilt. Darkening to the cloth at spine region from age and reading - not extreme. Minor edgewear and some bumping to the lower extremeities, heavier at the heal of the spine. Light fraying to the head of the spine cap. Binding solid. Two publisher's postcards laid in at front with listings of Bewer's publications. Text clean and unmarked except for a smallish pink smudge on page 23. 237 pp., text in German. A good solid copy of this poetry collection, signed by the infamous Max Bewer. Bewer was well known in his age as a firm supporter of Bismark, a controversial political cartoonist and journalist, and an outspoken anti-semite. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
