Book desription: New York: The Bibliophile Press, nd. [Cortland], 1935 Extraordinary inscribed copy [Ex-Libris, George Crosbie of Crosbie Gage]. First Edition, First Issue. 12mo., 8pp, publisher's tan wrappers. The colophon page shows "Cortland, N.Y. / A". Page 7, second line from bottom " Twas Sunday and Square Hale was dressed for meeting." Unnumbered on limitation page,. Leaves measure 162 by 114 mm. With reference to the introduction on page 3 - "This poem, one of Mr. Frost's most amusing and whimsical, and one of his own favorites.", Frost has made an "X" at "favorites", and has added in his fine hand at the bottom of the page - " X Nearer correct than I thought / when I first read this statement / R.F." - In fine condition and in a custom collector's black cloth chemise and slipcase, gilt lettered, red calf labels on the spine. One of Frost's very uncommon "A" items - 500 copies of the First Issue were printed, all but 37 were withdrawn. uncommon enough but RARE found Inscribed.. 1st Edition.
