SIGNED and INSCRIBED by the author on the first white end page: 'For Tami - Thanks for your sweet letter - and have a great summer. Stephen King 7/3/92'. The dustjacket obviously was removed while this one was read, as it is in fine condition: bright, clean, price intact with no tears or chips, and now in a removable clear mylar protector to keep it that way. The book, however, has a few small faults from having been read. It is clean and tight, and has no handwriting in it other than the author's, and the gilt printing on the binding has no dulling or wear, but the spine is very slightly cocked at the upper end and also is very slightly concave there, the lower front corner is very slightly bumped, and the spine cloth is just a bit shinier at the folds than the rest of the cloth, from handling. There are also a few very small, very faint smudges to the page edges. But still a very handsome example of a scarce book to find signed and inscribed by King, and an excellent, authentic example of his handwriting and signature.
