This tall black canvaslike clothbound book opens to Georgia O'Keeffe's bold signature and 108 stunningly beautiful full color plates with commentary by the artist. Included are 14 reproductive prints chemised separately. Note: 2 of the reproductive prints are missing - originally there were 16 prints - the print of a painting with an antelope skull in the sky, and the print of a painting with a lone bird in flight are not present. The book is housed in a matching black clothbound clamshell box. Condition: Very Good. There is foxing to the box and book binding and to the first few pages of the book. Foxing to the chemise and a few of the reproductive prints. Box corners edgeworn. The textblock including the artist's own words about her work and the lovely full color plates are in fine condition.
