This interesting account of railroad labor shows the number of men in various occupations on the job and tells briefly what the crew did. In all, 120 men, including: 6 foremen, a walking boss, 3 shovel cranemen, a blacksmith, 2 mechanics, 17 teams and drivers, 71 laborers, 4 water boys, etc. The work comprised shoveling sand at several stations, drilling and shooting, filling in the roundhouse, etc. 11" x 8.25".
