Since 1958, Ramah Hebrew School has played an important and unique role in both the Jewish community and the Winnipeg community as a whole. The school belongs to the Shaarey Zedek Synagogue and is a part of the Jewish school board. The school teaches approximately 200 students in both preschool and elementary programs ranging in age from three-year-olds to Grade 6. Half the school day is used for teaching the provincial curriculum and the other half is reserved for Hebrew language schooling. The school now operates out of the Asper Community Campus in Tuxedo together with a number of Jewish educational and cultural organizations.. Soft Cover.
