Very Good condition rust colored cloth hardcovers, beveled boards, gilt to front and spine, top edges gilt, matching set. This is the smaller sized format of the 1870 printing. Corners are a bit rubbed and spine ends frayed. A small perforated ding to the cloth on the spine near title lettering on volume two. Brown endpapers, sound bindings, contents are clean and unmarked but for a slight water stain which lightly tidemarks the rear blank of volume two near the inner margin, visible on rear blank and adjoining endpaper. A preface by William Cullen Bryant precedes Books I through XII in volume one. Volume two contains Book XIII through XIV. #1982.. Cloth Hardcover. Very Good. 12mo - 6¾ - 7¾ Inches Tall. Homer.
