I almost did a dance when I stumbled upon "Raising Dragons" in my local Christian bookstore, and read it for the first time. Not only has this author successfully presented Christian themes alongside fantasy (almost completely unheard of at that time), but he has done so with a storyline and characters that are genuinely enjoyable, even for an older teen like myself. Parents, you can feel safe letting your children lose themselves in these pages. And for anyone older, don't pass this one up either!" Raising Dragons starts off the best series you will ever read and once you start reading it you will not be able to put it down!Whether you like reading or not this book is definitely for you. Even if dragons aren’t your thing, they will be after reading Raising Dragons!" As soon as his true heritage is revealed, he is soon running away from dark knights. He learns about faith, courage, and friendship. On the way he meets Bonnie Silver, a girl who seems to be hiding something. Will they evade the people after them, hunting them for their traits? This book is amazing! As all of Mr. Davis's books do, this book is intriguing and puts a reader on the edge of their seat! They feel as if they are right with Billy and Bonnie on their adventure. It's a must have for all libraries and preteen to teen readers! Best of all, it's appropriate with a great Christian message.I love love love this book! It's on my special shelf of books that I keep in tip-top shape. I love Billy's courage and Bonnie's peaceful soul. They are both great examples for me even though they are fictional." The book did not disappoint, it wasn’t as heady as Lord of the Rings, so you can read through it quite easily, and yet it wasn’t as simple as the Narnia books, lots of information, but not too much that would make your brain choke. With lots of action, amazing storyline, and tons of surprises along the way, I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good fantasy book."

Davis's average teenage boy is very easy to relate to, and the story is probably the most entertaining book I've read in a long time.It is awesome, kept me on the edge of my seat, and made me think...and laugh! Read it!!! " Other Recommended Books
