This is a BOMC illustrated (sepia toned photographs) autobiography of the respected, wll-known journalist (New York Times), raconteur, man about New York, T .R.Ybarra. All through the 1920s, 1930s Ybarra's feature stories were read in the N.Y. Times,. Collier's Weekly and heard as a commentator in 1940 for NBC over station WJZ. He traveled all over Europe and the Near East. Lived his early life in Venezuela, where his father was involved with the miltitary as a General. A wonderfully witty and intimate autobiogrphy. Dustjacket is sand-coloured with wh ite and black lettering. A few small tears and chips along edges. Min. fading to spine otherwise bright. New mylar protector. Bright blue cloth on boards binding. Two small spots of light discolourati on near lower edge front, otherwise exceptionally bright and clean. Tight. Endpapers white, clean. No former owner's name. Foreword by Elmer Davis. Lovely sepia portrait of author on frontpiece. A sup er copy of this interesting man's autobiography. Overall cond: v. good..
