At Books at Star Dot Star our policies are straight-forward. They are as follows: Payment - We accept direct payment by PayPal ,Banker's draft in UK pounds sterling ONLY made payable to Books at Star Dot Star or International Postal Money Order in UK pounds sterling ONLY made payable to Books at Star Dot Star Or electronic transfer from your bank to ours (E-mail us for details). Payment by cheque or postal order from outside the UK is very slow because we have to wait for clearance. All goods remain the property of Books At Star Dot Star until payment in full is received. Shipping Policy: All books are sent within the UK via surface mail. All international orders are shipped Air Mail unless requested otherwise. Postage (and insurance where applicable) will be added to price of book or books. Customers will be advised of total cost before payment is requested and book or books despatched. On receipt of payment books will be despatched immediately. Shipping charges - Postage and Packing is based on the cost of our average book, which is fairly large and heavy (about 1Kg, 2.2 lbs). We will provide insurance when appropriate. Inventory: Whilst Books At Star Dot Star makes every effort to ensure that our book inventories on the various sites on which we list them are kept up to date, it must be accepted that occasionally books may have already been sold. Therefore all orders are subject to availability and acceptance by Books At Star Dot Star. Book Descriptions, Returns, Refunds: Every attempt is made to describe items in our inventory accurately. Those items are therefore fully guaranteed so that if for any reason you're not satisfied with the delivered item you may return it for a full refund. In accordance with the UK's Distance Selling Regulations (http://www.oft.gov.uk/advice_and_resources/resource_base/legal/distance-selling-regulations/), items may be returned within one week (7 days) for full refund, provided you contact us first for a Return Authorisation Number and return the item properly packed and insured (if of a value greater than £20).
