Spotting to frontis, title and and sporadic spotting throughout, but on the whole very good. An important travel account of the Hawaiian Island written by an American. He visited all parts of the Archipelago and urged their annexation by the United States. In Hawaiian language "Haole" means foreigner or outsider and has come to mean a person of European racial stock";
