ALL FIRST EDITIONS.Complete set of all twelve novels.Volume 1.Very good book with previous owners name written neatly on front free endpaper.Dustwrapper has invisible expert repair to the front hinge and some loss to the top and bottom 5mm of the spine.Corners a little chpied and edges lightly rubbed.---Volume 2.Some creasing the the very edge of a few pages.Outer boards and spine with light water staining to the bottom 5 cms.,not affecting the inside of the book at all.Dustwrapper has small area of loss to the top of the spine,which is darkened a little.minor chipping to corners.Inner front flap has been price clipped and at some time a small U.S dollar price has been ink stamped to the top of the panel($3.00).----Volume 3.SVery good book in very good dustwrapper with just one small (8 x 5 mm) chip from bottom of spine but overall a very nice,bright copy.---All the other nine volumes are bright,clean copies in very good,complete dustwrappers.Overall a very good set of this popular work.:
