Book description: George Miller, London, 1644. Full Calf. Fair. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Fair copy housed in a custom clam shell box with leather label to spine of clam shell box. Book is bound in calf but the spine has been replaced by a piece of vellum sewn into the front and rear board to protct the spine. The book has been extensively read through and shows the wear from these readings. Sewn binding is split in the middle but two parts are still held together by a cord. One or two signatures loose but present. Some wear and lose to pages but rarely affecting the text of the work with it still being entirely readable.
