Book summary

Zamir chronicles his life with and without his father, Isaac Bashevis Singer. Zamir was separated from Singer at the age of five, when the writer left his native Poland to make his mark in America. Zamir and his mother immigrated to the Soviet Union and eventually to Israel, where he grew up on a kibbutz. After a 20 year separation the two were reunited, and maintained a relationship for 35 years.
