Book description: Toronto: Copp, Clark Co. Limited 1st Canadian Edition (assumed) 1915, 1915 ----------hardcover, with dust jacket. Presumably the First Canadian Edition: it has 1915 on the title page, while the copyright page states the US Charles Scribner's information (published December 1914, reprinted twice in December 1914). The very solid and square book, in red, orange and black cloth with black lettering to the front boards and spine, has minor corner and spine extremity bumps, and is VG+ to near fine. The frontispiece portrait of King Albert of Belgium (and the tissue protector) is present, as are all the photographic plates, depicting various war scenes. The now mylar-protected scarce jacket is not price-clipped (the price $1.00, is printed on the spine), has small pieces missing from the panels, chipping, some creasing and staining, and is good only.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good+ to Near Fine/Good. Illus. by Photos Throughout.
