First Edition, second or third printing (such two printings being indistinguishable from one another) without the rare dustjacket. A NEAR FINE INSCRIBED copy (with the corners lightly bumped and rubbed and a light, thumb-size smudge to the lower front board) in the publisher's attractive dark bluish green cloth, with title and the author's name blind-stamped to the front board, and the spine stamped in gold. This copy has the correction "and" made on line 6, page 232, (as per Bruccoli ). A rare INSCRIBED COPY, inscribed by Fitzgerald in pencil (somewhat faded) on the front free endpaper: " For Eliot / from / F. Scott Fitzgerald ". This is a near fine copy with the cloth rather clean and bright. The the text block is evenly toned as usual. An important collection of short stories: My Last Flappers--The Jelly-Bean, The Camel's Back, May Day, Porcelain and Pink; Fantasies--The Diamond as Big as the Ritz , The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Tarquin of Cheapside, O Russet Witch; Unclassified Masterpieces--The Lees of Happiness, Mr. Icky, Jemina. This title is not common in this condition and is ESPECIALLY SCARCE INSCRIBED.
