These stories first appeared in the Birmingham Post, and 'Nathan' became familiar to a wide circle in the Midlands. The complete series are produced in this book. 'It is the verger who rings the bell, digs the graves, and vicariously, by means of a daughter, plays the organ'.. Hard Cover. Very Good/Good.
