Book desription: First edition, handsomely bound in half calf leather by Zaehnsdorf. Raised spine bands, gilt titles, marbled boards, 366pp top edge gilt, marbled endpapers. Very slight perishment to titles; minor wear / rubbing along leather edge; corners lightly nicked. A very good plus sturdy copy. I would imagine that the wear to the leather could be easily remedied with wax polish. A very desirable book in an impressive, handsome circa 1920s binding.
