Book desription: Original, vintage, sepia, b&w promotional photograph, 8" by 10", undated, but certainly from the 1940's, inscribed and SIGNED in black ink at top left of the recto by the great jazz orchestra leader, pianist and composer, Duke Ellington, "To Angela Perry , Phillips Bros., Music Dept, good luck, Duke Ellington". Photograph is very good+, no pin holes, tears or loss, a few light surface dings, small stain to margin at top right of recto, slight edge curling, shallow crease to centre of photograph, verso is unmarked with small Global Authentication sticker to bottom right corner, original autograph is fine, clean, unfaded. A handsome signed, vintage portrait of the Duke, an increasingly scarce jazz collectible. J1414.. Very Good +.
