The endpapers and the first leaf carry a commemorative watermark. Text in both Italian and English. Pier Paolo Pasolini was an Italian film director, poet, writer, and intellectual. Pasolini also distinguished himself as an actor, journalist, novelist, playwright, and political figure. He was brutally murdered in 1975. Four decades later the case remains unsolved..
