This is a Very Good + , not quite Near Fine (light edgewear and some dulling to the cover decoration and to the spine lettering), copy of the First American Edition of this book, in a Near Fine dust jacket (with a lightly sunned spine, light age toning at some edges, a small chip to the upper right front corner, a small tear -- without loss -- to he head of the spine, and a small closed tear to the bottom of the rear panel). The book is not dated, but was published in 1922. This is a much sought-after book with beautiful illustrations by Rackham, 16 of which are tipped in, and the rest of which are line drawings. Each illustration is in beautiful condition and the pages are quite nice as well. It is quite difficult to find this book in its dust jacket, especially in a jacket as nice as this one. A highly desirable copy.
