Cambridge: W. Metcalfe & Sons, 1873-1875, 1890. Six issues, first & third editions, 22.5 x 15cm [large 12mos], in original paper wraps w/printed titles to fr. covers, 32 untrimmed pp. + advert leaves in each issue of "The Light Blue" & 16pp. in each of the other issues. The single issue of "Light Greens" is bound w/Metcalf's 1890 reprint of "The Light Green" Parts I & II, in light green cloth w/gilt title to spine. Included are parodies of poetry by Swinburne ("Octopus" by A.C. Sin-Burn), Christina Rossetti ("Ding Dong" by Rosina Christetti), Lewis Carroll ("The Vulture and the Husbandman" by Louisa Caroline), etc. Overall a Very Good set (moderate soiling & edge-chipping to "The Light Blue"'s wraps, & "Light Greens"'s rear cover stained).
