Engraved portrait vignette on each title-leaf. Contemporary uniform bindings of full marbled calf and gilt decorations on spines. Slightly foxed here and there. Blindtooled stamp on the flyleaf in the first volume, name on flyleaf in the vols. 3-7. Spines slightly rubbed, tops of spines and some corners slightly bumped. Small bit of the upper part of the spine of volume one is missing. Upper hinges of the first volume slightly weak. * Complete set of this important source to English history of the early 18th century.
