Book desription: London: Charles Knight, 1837. . Half leather. Boards are rubbed in places. Front board is separated from rest of book but is still attached by the stiching. Rubbed along edges and spine sides and ends. Page 99 has bottom front corner piece missing with a loss of about half of the last 12 sentences, and page 133 has a 5" tear (no text missing). There is just a few spots of foxing on a few of the pages, and also on the endpapers. Previous owner's name and address inside front board. A good tight copy. . The Penny magazine for one year from No. 306 dated 7th January 1837 to No. 367 dated 23rd December, 1837. 508pp. With numerous illustrations in the text. (10¾"h x 7½"w) (28.5cms x 19cms) approx. . Hard Cover. Good.
