Interior tanning and foxing, and a few page creases.The author, Johanna Wilhelmina Antoinette Naber (1859-1941) was a Dutch feminist, writer, and historian. Nader was one of the most important feminists in the Netherlands and wrote many historical studies on women and the feminist movement. Her publications numbered more than 250. This needlework manual was her first published book (she won first prize in a contest for it), and the point from which Nader went on to write historical studies and biographies.; Small 8vo 7½" - 8" tall; 211 pages .
