Dated 1850 on title page,All in a brown leather, darker brown half leather (spine/corners - outlined in gilt) also w/gilt decoration and titling on spine w/raised bands, gilt on all page edges, marbled endpapers, has a small very old label on top left corner inside the front board 'Bound by Marks Bros. 107 High Street, Barnstaple', Copyright page states on bottom - London: Bradbury and Evans, Printers, Whitefriars, There is a two page preface dated 1849 at end, Then the dedication page: 'In Memoriam A.H.H. Obit and the year 1833 in Roman Numerals..Small book measuring approx. 6 7/16" x 4 3/16", the book has some wear to leather in usual spots, corners/headbands/edges, in very nice condition nonetheless, tight and clean, the endpapers are in great condition w/no problems, quite vibrant, we found a couple of pencil notations/underlining (incl. directing us to where the misprints are) - absolutely can be erased, prior owner inscription dated 1856 on half title page, VG condition all around..
