Pale pink wrappers printed in black with illustration on front wrapper; elaborate borders on both front and back wrappers. Publisher's advertisements on back wrapper. Front wrapper illustration is of an elephant's trunk; title vignette is of an elephant with its trunk around a tree. Inside of front and back wrapper contain full-page engravings of elephants within borders. Each page, both text and illustrations, is printed within decorative borders. One illustration also contains a rhinoceros; two show scenes of people tiger hunting with elephants. In Good+ Condition: wrapper just starting to separate at tail of spine; wrapper lightly soiled; staining/foxing throughout. A solid copy of this scarce children's book.. Good+.
