Written to celebrate the 'Golden Anniversary of Flight in Canada', this book covers the development of flight, the engineers and pilots (both men and women), the records, the aircraft (from bush . planes to 'flying boxcars' to jets - including the Harvards, Lancasters, Sabres, Comets, etc.) and the many uses of aviation in Canada in both peace and war. Very light browning to edges of boards, faint marks to top of textblock. Dust jacket has . light edge wear, several small closed tears with archival tape, tiny puncture on front hinge, moderate soiling/rubbing, small 'inked out' area and light cup ring on front panel. VG-/G-.
