Book summary

Sean Wilsey, a McSweeney's founder, grew up in San Francisco's privileged social scene. His father was a millionaire and womanizer, his mother a ditzy activist, and his stepmother an evil and controlling witch to whom Wilsey was perversely attracted as an adolescent. In his ironically titled memoir, he describes all this with searing honesty, in precise and vivid language.
