Book desription: Burbank Warner Bros., 8 December 1986.. [1],133,[1] leaves. Quarto. Photographically reproduced typescript, printed on rectos only. Bradbound in studio wrappers. Minor discoloration (a faint coffee splash?) to extreme upper foretip of some leaves, otherwise very good or better. Denoted a "second draft." An interesting and evidently unproduced update and reworking by Schulberg of his award- winning 1957 film. In this version, the narrative is updated to the 1970s, and comparison with the original would be most interesting.
