B&W Photographs; Spine ends & corners of book covers have a bit of extremely light bumping and rubbing. Blue paper covered boards have a blue cloth spine with gilt lettering and blue gilt rules. The text pages are clean and bright. Endpapers are a solid white color. Spine ends & corners of dust jacket have a bit of light bumping & rubbing. The bottom spine end of the dust jacket has two small edge tears with some light bumping and wear. There is also a small nearly invisible exacto knife cut to the front cover of the dust jacket in the American flag. Overall, a nice clean, bright copy. "In June 1967, jet aircraft and motor torpedo boats of Israel brutally assaulted an American naval vessel, the USS Liberty, in international waters off the Sinai Peninsula in the Mediteranean Sea. The attack was preceded by more than six hours of intense low-level surveillance by Israeli photo-reconnaissance aircraft, which buzzed the intelligence ship thirteen times, sometimes flying as low as 200 feet directly overhead." .
