The foreword is by Beatle, George Harrison and is signed in ink by him. Also signed in pencil by Larry Smith, the artist of the endpapers and the illustration on page viii. Edited by George Harrison who provides the foreword and annotations. x, 541pp. Profusely illustrated with hundreds of plates, reproductions of art work, correspondence, memorabilia, reproduction of Beatles promotional material, concert posters, tickets, contracts, letters and handbills, and photographs printed in color and black & white, including 7 photographic plates in color. Errata sheet, bibliography, index. Three-quarter dark brown calf, brown cloth sides, gilt and red pictorial element on front cover, spine decorated with gilt elements between panels, gilt-lettered red leather spine label, all edges gilt. Spine slightly faded, but a superb copy with the publisher's slipcase (printed paper label on cover). The author, Derek Taylor, was publicist for the Beatles, and was very instrumental in their wide acceptance and rapid success.
