Book desription: Leeds, England: Scolar Press Limited, 1967. VERY GOOD book condition/NO dust jacket. Red cloth hard cover with bright, crisp gilt publisher logo on front & bright, crisp gilt lettering on spine. Small amount of shelf dent to corners, edges & spine ends. Previous owner name neatly written on top corner of ffep with acquisition date near spine. Previous owner name & university affiliation embossed on top of title page. These tracts are "arranged in the sequence in which the seven original pieces first appeared." These tracts were an attack on the Anglican Church and, as such, were circulated illegally. The identity of the author(s) has never been completely authenticated. The tracts are full of hatred for their opponents and the author(s) were convinced in their cause. Unpaginated. Pages are clean, tight & uncreased. Also included is a letter from the publisher to the previous owner & a full-size half-tone fascimile (mispelled on the accompanying sheet) of the broadside of "Certaine Minerall and Metaphycall Schoolpoints" (1588).This broadside was unable to be reproduced clearely on a reduced scale and therefore was not included in the book.
