Book description: New York: Printed and sold by T. & J. Swords, 160 Pearl Street, 1815. First American edition. Duodecimo, 39, [1, blank] pp. Contemporary and probably original mottled calf. Binding with typical edgewear, the spine moreso, numerous ownership inscriptions, an unsophisticated and appealing copy. The first American edition, first appearing in London the same year. Perhaps Byron's greatest short poem, "She Walks in Beauty" appeared for the first time in this work. The American imprint is quite scarce.
