Book summary

A mysterious plague strikes down all of the male mammals in the world, with the exception of Yorick Brown, an unemployed English major and amateur escape artist living in Brooklyn, and Ampersand, the helper monkey he's training. Dodging various competing female factions who seek either to murder or to capture him, Yorick embarks upon a quest to find his girlfriend (last seen in Australia) and the missing female members of his family, as well as the reasons why the catastrophe occurred and why he and Ampersand were not affected by it. This graphic novel collects in full color issues #1 to #5 of post-apocalyptic comic book series Y: THE LAST MAN.
