Book Description
New York: Doubleday, Doran & Co., 1939. Rust color brown covers with line drawing of a boy, horse and dog on the front cover. Stated first edition. Pictures of horses and riders with captions on the end papers. The cover is worn on the edges and some loss of surface cloth at top edge and half way down the spine of the cover. The front cover hinge is pulling away from the binding. There is a two inch wide and about 3" long water stain from the top center on about half the pages. Otherwise the text pages are clean and in very good condition. . First Edition. Hard Cover. Fair/No Dust Jacket. Illus. by Paul Brown. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
