In addition to practiced legal forms, the terminal leaves include a three-page reminiscence, beginning "When I was a little boy." The author (1766-1826) was born at Bound Brook, NJ, and studied law with Elias Boudinot at Newark. He was admitted to the bar and "became the state's ablest lawyer on New Jersey land titles.Griffith is best known for his legal writings." (Dictionary of American Biography). First Edition.
