Traveling the world, their last stop was the slave hub of Madagascar, where Tyerman died of exhuastion and Bennet had to excape the besieged mission house during the outbreak of tribal war in order to leave the country, finally returning home in 1829. 366 pages including notes, a bibliography, and index.
