Lower spine ends are very lightly bumped from shelving and Volume 2 has one bumped corner. Volume 1 is a second printing and Volumes 2 & 3 are 1st printings. Volume I has 372 pages and is an Introduction; Volume II has 475 pages on Pteridophytes and Gymnosperms; Volume III has 590 pages on Magnoliophyta: Magnoliidae and Hamamelidae. All three volumes have endpapers that are decorated with maps of the North America. They are all profusely illustrated with black and white illustrations, maps and charts.
