London: L. Reeve & Co., 1875. Pp. xvi, 95 with 48 fine hand-colored lithographic plate (all with original tissue guards) and in-text woodcuts, original patterned endpapers. Publisher's original purple pebbled-cloth binding with gilt lettering, and gilt vignette of a daffodil to the front board, very good with a little general wear and rubbing, spine faded to a brown buff colour, head of the spine slightly scuffed with one very small chip. Contents clean and tight, private armorial bookplate to the front paste-down (though name erased) otherwise no inscriptions; tissue guards tanned and some foxed, a few with creases; though most plates are very clean (some a little toned at the edges) and maintain their vibrant colours, a minute single worm hole running through the top outside corner - this is only a pin-prick and barely noticable; . A very good copy.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Dust Jacket. 4to.
