DescriptionChicago: Moody Press, 1939. Presumed first edition, although no edition is stated. The dust jacket is worn and slightly yellowed. The corners are worn away with two of the corners having associated 1/2" closed tears and a third having a 2" jagged closed tear (this is on the bottom, rear). The bottom of the spine is worn away to a depth of about 1/4". A 1/4" closed tear on the bottom front at the spine has caused a 1 1/2" by 1/4" flap that has been folded back. The top of the spine is chipped. There is a 1/4" closed tear on the top, rear near the fore edge. There is a large sticker on the front free end paper indicating the book was given as a reward for memorizing scripture. The pages are yellowed but unmarked. The binding is tight.. First Edition.
