Modest, very neat repairs to the edges of the spine, still a very near fine copy of this extraordinarily fragile volume, housed in a cloth chemise and quarter leather slipcase (slipcase with a modest stain on the rear board); the map has a tear at one fold, else fine. Prepared as a guide to the city's Centennial Exposition, Hearn compiled and contributed a considerable amount of the guidebook. George Cable was among the other contributors.
