A good, clean, hardcover first edition overall, but cloth along the back strip splitting away at the hinges with a two inch section of cloth missing at the bottom of the back strip, hinges and binding solid, paper lightly yellowed. A wonderful travelogue, charming, historical, anecdotal, personal.
